Raining again.....

The month is ending the same way it started - persistent rain, so I have cheated a bit and put on a picture I took earlier this month of a pony on the Black Mountain.

Chilly Morning

 

Frosty this morning, the pond at the nature park was iced over.

Hugo

This is Hugo, he came to me three years ago, he was covered in mites, had huge sores all over his body and a lot of hair loss.  He was also half his body weight.  It took a long time to get him right but he has turned into a handsome piggy.  He spends his days with his best friend Elvis.

These girls are sisters and are very much bonded, they had a bad start in life and were almost wild when they arrived, much better now, they love to have a run round the garden.

I'm not good with house plants, I tend to neglect them until they are nearly dead, this one flowered despite my 'care' I have now watered her and put her in the light!

This is Chloe, my elderly French Lop who spends her days wandering around the garden and stealing the chicken food!

Choccy, my Netherland Dwarf

Choccy came to me as he was fighting with the other rabbit he was living with.  He always had bad teeth, which is common in Netherland Dwarf's due to the shape of their head.  His teeth are much better these days but he had a prolapsed tear duct on one of his eyes last year which had to be operated on, it is fine now and he is finally a healthy bunny.

A Wet Start

The beginning of a new year and one of my resolutions is to take and blog one photo a day for a whole year.  Not the best day to start weatherwise as it was so wet but got a picture of Peaches and Doug waiting to go back in the house.
